My piece depicts a blossoming tree with its roots. The blossoming tree represents how I overcame my struggles with anxiety,  how I learned from my journey, and how I ultimately blossomed. The roots of the tree represent the battle itself, and all the hardship that came with it. This is a representation of what hope means to me, because I can look back on my journey, and realize that I persevered through, learned from, and overcame the hardest point of my life, just as the tree depicted was able to grow beautifully even with its dark roots. I hope that my piece will inspire others not to lose hope, because it truly will get better in the end, and looking back on my journey, I am proud to say that all the hardship made me who I am today.
