I painted this piece because sometimes I tend to find it's easier to express my thoughts through art. I was struggling a lot during this time and it was funny because here I stood staring in my bathroom mirror that was covered with little sticky notes. Two of my friends snuck into my room and plastered inspirational cliche quotes all over the month prior. This piece isn't about a hopeful time in my life whatsoever, it's of one lacking it. But through it all the irony of these cliche quotes stuck literally around me shows stupid hope can be found in small acts people normally wouldn't see as quite as significant.
