This piece is named after Rochester’s very own Record Archive, a lovely record store that immerses its visitors in music of all forms. Owning a record player and my favorite vinyls has provided me with a tangible way to grasp onto music, which has been very dear to me throughout my life. Creating this piece allowed me to express the euphoric feeling of discovering a new favorite song in a way that makes that sensation come alive.
